 Bourgas, on the Black Sea, December 4 (BTA) - The Bulgarians consume the  least quantity of fish and fish products in Europe, the Chairman of the  National Association of Fish Producers in Bulgaria, Tacho Pashov, told  BTA on the eve of December 6 when the Orthodox Church celebrates the  feast of St Nicholas the Miracle Maker. Fish is traditionally eaten on  the St Nicholas feast day. 
 
 The Association members report decreasing levels of consumption of fish  in the past two years. They argue that a large-scale promotion campaign  is needed to increase demand for fish as a healthy food.
