Sofia will host a career forum organized by the  Bulgaria Wants You platform, titled "Bulgaria across Five Oceans", which will take place on Saturday, June 14, at Inter Expo Center in Sofia, the Bulgaria Wants You team told BTA.

The initiative, created by Andrey Arnaudov and Ivan Hristov, will once again unite inspiring personalities, business representatives and institutions, who will share their views on the opportunities for professional development in Bulgaria, the platform reported.

In 2025, the forum in Sofia will present a new look, concept and scale, as the event will take place on an area of ​​over 3600 sq. m, located in two expo halls, with two main stages, each with an independent programme. 

The Bulgarian News Agency (BTA) will be presented with its own information stand, where visitors will be able to familiarize themselves with the Agency’s publications, including issues of the LIK magazine and books dedicated to the 125th anniversary of the establishment of the national news agency. The 20th World Meeting of Bulgarian Media, organized by BTA, will also be presented to the attendees at the exhibition. This year’s media forum took place on May 24–25 in Sofia, the Klisura Monastery” and the town of Varshets.

The event will be opened by President Rumen Radev.

The “Success and Lessons” stage at the event will feature Bulgarians with professional achievements abroad and in the country, who will share their stories in moderated conversations. The topics will cover the price of success and a comparison between professional and personal life in this country and abroad. Among those confirmed to participate are actors Maria Bakalova, Tsvetana Maneva, Dimitar Marinov and Julian Vergov, producer Monika Evstatieva, journalist Boyko Vassilev, engineer Alexander Atanasov from Tesla Motors, skier Albert Popov, entrepreneurs Ivaylo Penchev, Dimitar Stanchev and others.

The second stage, titled “Leaders of Change”, will focus on the presentation of  examples of good practices in innovation, investment, regional development and education through lectures, panel discussions and workshops. Among those confirmed to participate are Magardich Halvadjiyan, Hristo Popov, Dobroslav Dimitrov, Radoslav Nikolov, Vladimir Grozdanov and others.

Deputy Prime MInister and Minister of Innovation and Growth Tomislav Donchev, Energy Minister Zhecho Stankov, Deputy Executive Director of  NPP Kozloduy New Builds Bogdan Dimitrov, will participate in the event.

The forum will also include an expo area, where leading companies from various sectors will be presented. The space is organized for active networking, meetings with employers and consultations on issues related to professional development. A special networking area with separate places for food, drinks and informal conversations, as well as a children's corner, titled "Little Inventors", and interactive experiences are also planned for visitors.

Bulgaria Wants You is a platform that presents Bulgaria as an attractive place to live, work and invest. The organization partners with leading businesses, institutions and non-governmental organizations, and through dozens of events in the country and Europe it has reached thousands of Bulgarians. The event on June 14 is part of its long-term mission to encourage the return, retention and development of talents in the country by creating a sustainable and positive environment for realization, the platform team added.
