The University of Economics in Varna hosted the EvolvEX Summit 2025 forum on Thursday, with international experts discussing the development and application of AI, said Doret Dimitrova from the marketing communications agency ProVox, which organized the event.
The conference discussions included specialists from Israel, the USA, Romania, Turkiye, Ireland and China. Dimitrova noted that the emphasis was put on how AI can be used rationally, instead of being shrouded in myths, and how it is changing the business environment, education and professions.
The forum programme included topics such as decision-making and resource management through AI, as well as the creation of value in business and education.
University Vice-Rector Prof. Bistra Vasileva emphasized that the forum discussed ethical issues related to the use of AI, as the rapid development of technologies is a topic that is also actively discussed at the global level. She pointed out that there is still no precise definition of the concept of AI, which is rather perceived as a complex of tools and she emphasized that universities are the natural place where AI meets human reason.
The event was organized by the University of Economics in Varna, the Innovation and Development Centre Association and the marketing communications agency ProVox.
