Foreign Minister Georg Georgiev will participate in the June 3-4 OECD 2025 Ministerial Council Meeting in Paris, his Ministry said.

The forum is themed "Leading the Way towards Resilient, Inclusive, and Sustainable Prosperity through Rules-Based Trade, Investment and Innovation". It will provide an opportunity to showcase Bulgaria's progress towards joining the organization.

On May 22, Deputy Foreign Minister Maria Anguelieva told the National Assembly’s Committee on Foreign Policy that 13 of the 25 reviews for Bulgaria's accession to the OECD had been completed. On July 11 and 12, an OECD Secretariat delegation led by the coordinator for enlargement will make a working visit to Sofia for meetings with representatives of all institutions involved in Bulgaria's preparation process.
