site.btaPM Zhelyazkov to Participate in Discussion on Euro Area and Financial Literacy

Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov will participate in a discussion on financial literacy as a factor for investment, income and the euro area, the government information service said on Tuesday. The event is organised by the Economic and Social Council (ESC) and will take place at the Council of Ministers.

The discussion will also be attended by ESC President Zornitsa Rusinova, employers, trade unions and civil society organisations. The forum aims to present initiatives to increase the financial literacy of Bulgarian society. The topic is directly related and increasingly relevant in the context of Bulgaria's accession to the euro area.
