It will be sunny over the southwestern half of the country, while cloud cover will increase from the north.  Cumulonimbus clouds are expected to form in parts of southern Bulgaria. There will be rain showers in many places, especially in southwestern Bulgaria, where thunderstorms are also expected. Moderate to strong west-northwesterly wind. Highs ranging from 18 C to 23C, around 17C in Sofia. 

Black Sea coast: Mostly cloudy with isolated rain showers. Moderate west-northwesterly wind. Highs: 18C – 21C. Sea water temperature: 16 C – 18 C.

Mountains: Mostly cloudy and foggy. Rain showers are expected, along with snowfall at elevations over 2,000 metres and thunderstorms in the Rila and Rhodope areas. Strong northwesterly wind. Highs: around 11C at 1,200 metres and around 5C at 2,000 metres.
