Zhivko Yanev will present a new painting exhibition at the Pagane Gallery in Sofia. The exhibition will be held from May 9 to 31, the organizers said.

Zhivko Yanev was born in 1954 in the village of Bogoroditsa. In 1979, he was admitted to the National Academy of Art. In 1980, he won a competition to study at the Academy of Arts in St. Petersburg, where he graduated in 1985. Since 1986, he has lived and worked in Blagoevgrad as a teacher. Since 1998, he has been a member of the Union of Bulgarian Artists (UBA). From 2003 to 2005, he taught art in  Kairouan, Tunisia. In the 2006 - 2012 period , he was the chair of the UBA for Blagoevgrad and the region.
