site.btaWizz Air Starts Direct Service between Varna and Leipzig

Wizz Air announced Tuesday the start of a year-round direct service between Varna and Leipzig, Germany, starting April 29. There will be flights every Tuesday and Saturday.

The airline said it has ordered over 300 new aircraft with the state-of-the-art Airspace cabin. Also, the company is following a strategy of 100% digitalization, said Anastasia Novak, Corporate Communications Manager at Wizz Air Group.

In 2025, direct flights from Abu Dhabi to Varna will begin as well for the first time in the history of Varna Airport. They will be operated three times a week. In addition to Abu Dhabi, there will also be flights to Frankfurt-Hahn, Nuremberg and Tel Aviv.
