The average monthly contributory income in Bulgaria for February was BGN 1,738, according to National Social Security Institute data published on Friday. The monthly contributory income in this country for the period between March 1 and February 28, 2025, was BGN 1,679.

The average monthly contributory income for January was BGN 1,733.

The determined average monthly contributory income for the country for the specified period is used in calculating the size of the newly granted pensions in March, the National Insurance Institute added.
