site.btaNuance Art Gallery to Present Biser Lazarov Exhibition

Sofia's Nuance Art Gallery said Wednesday it will present an exhibition by artist Biser Lazarov on April 15. It will remain on display until May 11. 

It is the fruit of about ten years of work, and many of the works in this collection have never been shown to the public before. One of the smallest format works won an award at an international competition for abstract painting, the organisers say.

"In most of the paintings are used purely abstract pictorial means of expression, only in a few of them there is a reference to a certain degree of figurativeness," Lazarov said.
