Currently, Bulgaria's national aims are to achieve a share of energy from renewable energy sources (RES) in final consumption of 27%, as well as to reduce final energy consumption by 32% by 2030, said Sustainable Energy Development Agency (SEDA) Executive Director Ivaylo Aleksiev on Wednesday during a national roundtable "Energy efficiency policies for buildings: in search of sustainability, quality and predictability". He added that Bulgaria aims to increase interconnection by 15% by 2030 as well. The roundtable was organized by the Center for Energy Efficiency EnEffect and the Municipal Energy Efficiency Network EcoEnergy in partnership with the Renovate Bulgaria Coalition and the Association of Bulgarian Energy Agencies (ABEA).
