BTA Director General Kiril Valchev and Mayor of Lovech Municipality Stratsimir Petkov signed an agreement according to which the agency becomes a media partner of the municipality for activities, initiatives and events to reflect the 45th anniversary of the flight of the first Bulgarian cosmonaut Georgi Ivanov.

"The Bulgarian Footprint in Space" is the theme of the April issue of the LIK magazine, which will be published in the second half of the month. The issue is dedicated to the 45th anniversary of Georgi Ivanov's flight into Earth orbit.

The thematic chronology of the magazine features highlights from the publications in the BTA archive that reflect the long history of the relationship between Bulgaria and space.
