site.btaPM-designate Glavchev Says No One Could Convince Him to Make Changes to Proposed Cabinet Lineup

Commenting on the possibility of a change of caretaker ministers, Prime Minister-designate Dimitar Glavchev told the media on Friday that he had made his decision and does not see anyone who can change his mind. He commented on the issue after consultations with the president together with the parliamentary parties.

Glavchev refused to comment on accusations that his proposed caretaker cabinet is not politically independent.

He said that he will stick to the Constitution and the legislation. "The most important thing for the caretaker government is to organize fair elections, I fully realize that," Glavchev noted.

He said he had chosen four ministers from the current government to join the proposed caretaker cabinet to ensure continuity.
