Outgoing Bulgarian Interior Minister Kalin Stoyanov has ordered enhanced security measures across the country, Stoyanov's Ministry said in a press release on Saturday. The idea is to prevent public order violations and ensure public security and peace. Police and gendarmerie officers armed with assault rifles will patrol urban areas to monitor order and ensure safety, the Ministry added.
