The police in Haskovo said it has detained a wanted Syrian national, who has been refused a refugee status. Th e42-year old man has violated his house arrest and the police found on him 1- mg of methamphetamines and 2 g marijuana. Pretrial proceedings have been launched into the case. 

During the operation the police checked 552 vehicles, 48 criminal offenders, and 61 places known as gathering places for illegal migrants. Some 102 tickets were issued for traffic violations.
