Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mariya Gabriel Wednesday commented an upcoming government rotation in March which is expected to make her the Prime Minister, and said that the present Prime Minister, Nikolay Denkov, should switch offices with her and become Deputy Prime Minister. "The rotation should happen and happen in a calm manner so that the state and citizens get a sense of stability and resilience," she said during a working visit to Rabat.

She said that the partner parties that back the government should honour their commitments.

She explained what the process of deciding who is in the government after the rotation will be: "We have to see what work the minister did, what citizens think of that because they matter the most, and, third, take care of relations with the parties that back the government in Parliament. We have to honour our commitments and do as promised. After the rotation, Prime Minister Nikolay Denkov should be Deputy Prime Minister".

She would not comment the idea of Finance Minister Assen Vassilev becoming deputy prime minister, or the option of including the Movement for Rights and Freedoms in the government.

Instead, she underscored the government's accomplishments thus far.

Also, she said she had proven capable of not giving in to provocations.
