The National Assembly raised some gambling fees drastically by passing provisions of the 2024 State Budget Bill on second reading. The proposal came from GERB, the Movement for Rights and Freedoms, and Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria. The increase is expected to yield an additional BGN 200 million in annual public revenues.
