In August 2023, the seasonally adjusted industrial production increased by 0.6% in both the euro area and the EU, compared with July 2023, said Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union, on Friday. In July 2023, industrial production decreased by 1.3% in both the euro area and the EU.
