site.btaSofia Theatre's Peer Gynt to Visit Oslo Stage on September 6
Sofia Theatre is visiting Norway's capital, Oslo, to show its rendition of Peer Gynt at the Chateau Neuf on September 6, the theatre said.
The programme also includes a seminar on 'Approaches to Ibsen and Peer Gynt - Interpretation and Theatrical Experience', which will take place on 5 September at the Ibsen Research Institute.
Chateau Neuf is a building in Oslo that houses the Norwegian Student Society, including cafés, bars, performance centres and other facilities. It is close to the university's main campus in the city.
This particular staging of Peer Gynt is implemented under the "Peer Gynt travels" project and a grant agreement under the programme RA14 "Cultural Entrepreneurship, Heritage and Cooperation", funded by the Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area 2014-2021, Norwegian Financial Mechanism.
Theatre Sofia's Peer Gynt is directed by Katya Petrova and features actors Alexandar Tonev, Irinei Konstantinov and Eleonora Ivanova, among others.
