Supporters of the BOEC anti-corruption movement Thursday protested outside the Parliament building against the election of MP Delyan Peevski to the parliamentary committee for constitutional changes.
They also tried to bring into Parliament a petition for the impeachment of President Rumen Radev but as no MP showed interest, they started throwing balled up paper at Parliament.
According to BOEC, their petition was backed by 10,000 signatures.
The protest lasted about an hour. BOEC leader Georgi Georgiev tried to break the police line and enter the Parliament building but failed. The police security was beefed up.
Addressing the ralliers, Georgiev said that those who write the laws, break them.
