In the next week, talks will be held between the two negotiating teams of the two parliamentary groups - of GERB-UDF and Continue the Change – Democratic Bulgaria, together with ministers, to finalise the governance programme, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mariya Gabriel told journalists after Wednesday's first meeting of the newly elected regular government.
This governance programme will highlight those short-term priorities that will allow "the incumbent cabinet to get results and thus convince the Bulgarian citizens that this government is not only one that works, but is also stable", Gabriel pointed out.
The Deputy Prime Minister identified the adoption of the state budget as another main topic to be worked on in the coming days. "The discussion must start in detail so that it can be adopted as quickly as possible," Gabriel pointed out.
