site.btaNational Defence Academy Hosts Resolute Force Command and Staff Exercise

The Rakovski National Defence Academy is hosting the Computer-Assisted Command and Staff Exercise codenamed "Resolute Force 2023", the Defence Ministry said. The exercise themed "Combat Use of Tactical Units in a Multinational Joint Task Force Operation to Establish Control and Counter Paramilitary and Terrorist Groups" is taking place between May 30 and June 2.

The Rakovski National Defence Academy has organized and hosted this multinational exercise 14 times so far. This is the first time guests from Azerbaijan and Georgia will join the traditional participants from Romania and the Republic of North Macedonia. Students from the Master's Programme in Security and Countering Radicalization and Terrorism are also taking part, the Defence Ministry said.

The exercise is taking place with support from the Charalitsa National Military Training Center, located in Gorna Malina, some 30 km from Sofia.
