The Bulgarian Socialist Party would be an opposition to a rotational government of GERB-UDF and Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria (CC-DB), Socialist leader Korneliya Ninova said on bTV on Thursday morning. She called it a coalition devoid of principles that is the biggest political betrayal in Bulgaria of the last years. In her words, this is a coalition built on nothing but the desire for power and created to save GERB leader Boyko Borissov and several individuals from Continue the Change from responsibility being sought.

In her words, the BSP has always been in favour of Prosecutor General Ivan Geshev resigning, but his removal is not a judicial reform, which requires a deep and true change that would lead to true justice, and will add more chaos and insecurity to the Judiciary.

On May 22, GERB-UDF prime minister designate Mariya Gabriel and Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria's nominee for the post of prime minister, Nikolay Denkov, told a news conference that after receiving the second-government-forming mandate, Continue the Change will propose a government on a rotational basis. Denkov will serve as prime minister first for nine months, and Gabriel will be deputy prime minister and foreign minister, then Gabriel will take over as prime minister for the next nine months, if the proposed rotational government is formed.
