Leader of There Is Such a People Slavi Trifonov wrote on Facebook on Monday that the party whose entire existence was based on the destruction of GERB is now uniting with them to make a rotational government on the second exploratory mandate.
“We are on the side of the disgusted, not on the side of the disgusting,” Trifonov wrote and asked, “How do you feel, seeing all that’s been happening lately? Because it is disgusting, shameful, humiliating and ultimately unacceptable,” the TISP leader believes.
In his words, the entire brand of Continue the Change was built on anti-GERB rhetoric. They, in the person of Kiril Petkov, even arrested Boyko Borissov, Trifonov reminded, listing certain quotes by CC co-leaders Kiril Petkov and Assen Vassilev to show their acute dislike of GERB leader Boyko Borissov.
Trifonov also quotes Boyko Borissov's words about Assen Vassilev: "When a liar lies, he lies all the time. When Assen Vassilev speaks and says “good day” to you, you can safely turn on the lights." The TISP leader urges Borissov to turn on his lights.
Earlier today, it became clear that Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria will propose a second-term government with a prime minister rotating every nine months. Shortly afterwards, GERB-UDF prime minister-designate Mariya Gabriel returned to President Rumen Radev the first, unfulfilled mandate to form a government.
