Bulgarian voters should not be worried about their safety during while voting on April 2, caretaker Prime Minister Galab Donev told reporters here on Friday. He was commenting on a series of bomb threats in schools across Bulgaria. In his words, those are hybrid threats and hardly aim to reduce voter turnout.

On election day, the Interior Ministry will provide security in the corresponding constituent election commissions. "The government, in accordance with the legislation and organizational and technical measures it undertakes to support the Central Election Commission in conducting the April 2 snap general elections, is completely ready. The security of Bulgarian voters' vote is completely guaranteed," Donev underscored. Bulgaria is working with partner services from other countries, he added.

Donev said that the institutions have made all efforts for the school process to start and run smoothly next week.
