Bulgaria can develop as a leading factor in the field of satellite communications in our region, President Rumen Radev said Thursday when he visited the BulgariaSat-1 Satellite Management Centre, Radev's press secretariat said. He familiarised himself with the Centre's telecommunications capabilities and discussed with the company's executives the opportunities for Bulgaria to play a leading role in the field of satellite communications in the region and in the European Union's space initiatives.
