Bulgarian state agencies congratulated the Bulgarian News Agency (BTA) and its Director General on the agency's 125th anniversary.

Goritsa Grancharova-Kozhareva, President of the Bulgarian National Audit Office, presented Thursday the honorary plaque of the audit institution to Valchev and congratulated BTA on its 125th anniversary in a letter. The award is presented in relation to the effective cooperation between the two institutions.

The National Statistical Institute (NSI) congratulates BTA's team for their "professionalism, for always being up-to-date and objective, for preserving the journalistic principles over the years and creating and remaining a benchmark for quality journalism in Bulgaria." NSI expresses gratitude to BTA for the cooperation and wishes them good health, good luck and good news.

The Public Procurement Agency writes that over the years BTA has "proven its authority and professionalism and have defended its leading position as a Bulgarian media agency. The agency wishes BTA to continue to be leaders in their mission with increasing enthusiasm and strong will.

In a letter to BTA's Director General, the State Intelligence Agency pays their respects to Valchev, to all BTA employees and correspondents for their professionalism and dedicated work to establish BTA as a true national and global information center.

The Inspectorate to the Supreme Judicial Council writes that "undoubtedly, the most precious thing in the history of BTA are the people associated with it." BTA journalists have always been people of character and mission - held in special esteem in the media environment, that is why BTA is deservedly recognized as a proven school of high professionalism, ethics and integrity, the Inspectorate adds.

Congratulatory messages were also received by the Public Financial Inspection Agency, the Road Infrastructure Agency, the National Security Service and the Communications Regulation Commission,  among others.
