President Radev held a meeting with his Greek counterpart Katerina Sakellaropoulouv before the start of the Presidential Panel of the Sixth annual Summit of the Three Seas Initiative Radev's press secretariat said. Radev told the guest that the joint infrastructure projects of the two neighbouring countries are in the spirit of the objectives of the Three Seas Initiative.
Radev also said that Greece's participation in the Sofia Summit is very important for Bulgaria in the light of both the strategic partnership between the two countries, as well as with a view of the considerable potential of the joint infrastructure projects.
The development of the transport infrastructure, improving the energy connectivity an opening new border checkpoints to boost the ties in business and tourism were noted as priorities for both Bulgaria and Greece.
In Radev's words, Greece is an important partner also in respect of realizing the full potential of the transport corridors along the North-South axis.
