PM Borissov Talks with US Secretary of State Kerry


Sofia, December 9 (BTA) - In a telephone conversation on
Tuesday, US Secretary of State John Kerry congratulated Prime
Minister Boyko Borissov on his election for a second term and
confirmed his personal friendly relationship, Cabinet said in a
press release.

Deputy Prime Minister for Coalition Policy and State
Administration Roumyana Buchvarova and Foreign Minister Daniel
Mitov were also present during the conversation. Kerry noted the
high level of bilateral dialogue achieved between Bulgaria and
the US and assured Borissov of his desire for its further
development.

Borissov in turn expressed readiness for deepening trade and
economic ties and cooperation in security and defence matters,
increasing trade turnover and attracting new American
investments to Bulgaria.

The two agreed to exchange visits at the earliest opportunity.
