site.btaMethamphetamine Lab Uncovered in Sliven, Four Arrested
Police uncovered a laboratory producing synthetic drugs and arrested four people during a specialized police operation in Sliven, Southeastern Bulgaria, Bulgaria's General Directorate for Combating Organized Crime said on Thursday.
The suspects were detained on September 30 while allegedly producing methamphetamine, with investigators finding equipment, chemical precursors and more than 4.5 kg of finished product, along with EUR 2,000.
Pre-trial proceedings have been initiated under the supervision of the Sliven District Prosecution Office.
