site.btaLIK Connects the Past, Present and Future, Offering Lessons for the Future, Managing Editor Says

LIK magazine brings together stories from Bulgaria's cultural and public life, connecting the past with the present while offering lessons for the future, LIK Managing Editor Yanitsa Hristova said at a Tuesday presentation of its 12 issues as part of the “Price of Success” section of this year's Apollonia Arts Festival. 

Hristova said the stories show that success is the result of hard work, sacrifice, dedication, faith, talent and sometimes luck, but almost always follows decisions requiring courage.

Each issue published since September 2025 tells a different story worth reading and exploring in depth. Recent issues have focused on Bulgarian currency, the 130th anniversary of the National Academy of Art, opera singer Gena Dimitrova and St John of Rila.

The Apollonia Arts Festival has been held since 1984 and is organized by the Apollonia Foundation. This year's programme includes more than 70 events in music, theatre, literature, film and visual arts. BTA is a media partner and is presenting LIK's 12 issues published since last year's festival.
