site.btaOver 40 Experts Partake in International Workshop on Nonlinear Analysis and Its Applications in Sofia

More than 40 experts from all across the world participate in the International Workshop on Nonlinear Analysis and its Applications, which began on Monday at the Todor Kableshkov University of Transport in Sofia. There are participants from countries including Türkiye, Japan, India, Serbia, Spain, Romania, Italy, Taiwan, South Korea, Israel and Russia. 

The subject of the nonlinear analysis will be presented through lectures covering topics in the area of Fixed Point Theory, Differential and Difference Equations, Fractional Calculus and Numerical Optimization, explained the hosts from the University. 

The Rector of the University of Transport, Prof. Dr. Krasimir Krastanov, said here that this is the eighth such forum, with participants meeting in different countries each year. He also added that these scientists take part in international forums, work on projects, present opinions and ideas on specific issues, which are helpful for the economy, machine engineering, and transportation. 

The scientists work on the topic of nonlinear analysis – a branch of mathematics, dealing with differential equations and their applications across all sectors of the economy, said Prof. Inci Erhan from Aydin Adnan Menderes University in Aydin, Türkiye, who is one of the main organizers of the forum. 

Prof. Inci Erhan added that there are theoretical and practical outcomes of the workshop and once it has concluded, they will be published in a dedicated scientific journal.
