site.btaYellow Code Warning Issued for Heavy Rainfall in Seven Bulgarian Regions

The National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (NIMH) has issued a yellow code warning for heavy rainfall in seven regions of Bulgaria on Sunday. The warning is in effect for the regions of Vratsa, Montana, Sofia Region, Sofia City, Pernik, Kyustendil and Blagoevgrad.

According to the NIMH weather forecast, the weather will be mostly sunny, with scattered high clouds. Cumulus and cumulonimbus clouds will develop over the Rila-Rhodope region, bringing brief showers and thunderstorms in some areas. Light northeasterly winds are expected. Maximum temperatures will range between 30°C and 35°C in most parts of the country, reaching around 32°C in Sofia.
