A Russian drone attack killed one person and injured two in Ukraine’s Odesa Region on Tuesday, Odesa Regional Military Administration Head Oleh Kiper said on Telegram.

"The Russians continue to terrorize civilians in Odesa Region. Unfortunately, one person was killed in the strikes. I offer my condolences to their loved ones. The two injured people have been hospitalized," Kiper said.

Russian drones struck the region early on Tuesday evening, damaging warehouses and sparking large fires, Kiper said. Emergency crews are dealing with the aftermath.

Ukraine’s latest official census records more than 150,000 Bulgarians in Odesa Region, making them its third-largest ethnic community. Between 50,000 and 60,000 Bulgarians live in Odesa itself. The largest concentrations of Bulgarians are in the Bolhrad, Izmail and Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi districts.
