The Central Election Commission (CEC) launched a tender for voter information materials for the October 25 presidential election, CEC's press service said on Thursday. The contract covers audio and audiovisual clips and other campaign materials.

The tender also calls for a logo, slogan, visual identity, iconography and four campaign banners. The banners will be published on the CEC website, other websites and social media. They will provide information about the election, voting for the first time, voting at one’s current address and other matters.

The tender also includes the creation of a QR code for use in information materials. The contracting authority will later specify the web address to which the code will direct users, CEC added.

The video clips will run for up to 30 seconds. Topics will include eligibility to vote, voting at one’s current address, voting by people with disabilities, voting methods and vote counting. Training videos of up to six minutes will also be produced.

Specialized information materials will also be produced for people with disabilities.

Full details of the public procurement procedure are available on the CEC website.

In July, the National Assembly set October 25 as the date of the election for President and Vice President of the Republic of Bulgaria. The decision was also promulgated in the State Gazette.
