site.btaNationwide Campaign Helps Citizens Activate eZdrave App
A nationwide campaign to help people activate the eZdrave mobile app has been launched, the National Health Insurance Fund (NHIF) said on Wednesday.
Temporary support desks have been set up across the country, where citizens can quickly activate the app on their mobile devices. Their locations are available on the NHIF website under the eZdrave section, while additional locations and schedules are published by the Fund's regional offices.
The app allows insured users to access their electronic health records in real time, including information on medical appointments, tests, hospital stays, prescriptions, referrals and other healthcare services. If users identify incorrect information, they can report it to the NHIF for investigation.
The campaign complements the Health Ministry's initiative to improve access to electronic health records. The Ministry has also announced that regional health inspectorates will provide ongoing support for app activation, including after working hours, on weekends, and through mobile teams visiting municipalities and other public locations.
