The National Council for Tripartite Cooperation (NCTC) will hold an extraordinary meeting today, June 29, the government press service announced.

The agenda of the meeting includes the draft budgets of the National Health Insurance Fund for 2026, the Public Social Insurance Fund for 2026 and the State Budget for 2026.

At the same time, the Confederation of Independent Trade Unions in Bulgaria and the Podkrepa Confederation of Labour are expected to protest in front of the Council of Ministers building against proposed changes in the draft budget for 2026. According to them, the changes will lead to a reduction in personnel costs and the transfer of the payment of social security contributions to civil servants.
