site.bta23 Km Truck Queue Forms at Bulgarian-Turkish Border Crossing
Hundreds of trucks are waiting at the Hamzabeyli - Lesovo border crossing as they seek to enter Bulgaria from Turkiye.
According to the Turkish news website Haberler, the queue of heavy goods vehicles on the Turkish side of the border has stretched to 23 kilometers.
Truck drivers have complained that they are forced to wait in line along the roadway due to a lack of parking facilities where vehicles can remain until it is their turn to cross the border.
