site.btaDara Wins Eurovision Artistic Award Hours Before Grand Final

Singer Dara has won the Marcel Bezencon Artistic Award for her song "Bangaranga", which represents Bulgaria at the ongoing 2026 Eurovision Song Contest. The prestigious accolade was voted on by the Eurovision commentators.

Bulgarian National Television said that Dara and her stage team received the distinction hours before Saturday's grand final.

The Marcel Bezencon Awards, named after the creator of Eurovision, recognize the achievements of the competing performers and are presented every year immediately before the grand final in three categories: Media Award, Artistic Award, and Composition Award.

The media prize went to Australia, represented by Delta Goodrem with "Eclipse", and the composition award went to Soren Torpegaard Lund (Denmark) for the song "For vi gar hjem".

At 10pm Bulgarian time on Saturday, Dara will represent Bulgaria in the Eurovision final. She can be voted for from anywhere in the world.
