Personnel of the Bulgarian Land Forces' 2nd Tundzha Mechanized Brigade are taking part in the "Scorpions Legacy 2026" multinational exercise which is underway in Romania, the Defence Ministry in Sofia said on Monday.

"Scorpions Legacy 2026" is planned and led by the Multinational Command Support Brigade and is hosted by the Getica National Joint Training Centre in Cincu, Romania.

The exercise also involves service members of NATO's Multinational Brigade South-East, as well as troops from France, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Spain, and the Republic of North Macedonia.

During the exercise, the participating units are carrying out tasks aimed at enhancing interoperability, boosting multinational cooperation, and building cohesion within the North Atlantic Alliance, the press release said.
