Konstantin Prodanov MP of Progressive Bulgaria Friday said the cabinet line-up proposed by Progressive Bulgaria prime minister-designate Rumen Radev on Thursday “is not simply a list of names, but a pragmatic, capable, and well-prepared team with the expertise to guide Bulgaria through today’s global challenges.“ Prodanov spoke during a debate on the cabinet line-up in Parliament. “Today, we are witnessing something rare in politics - the presentation of a Cabinet built on a clear philosophy, consistent logic, and, above all, respect for the people of this country,“ he added.
Prodanov said: “The approach to forming this Cabinet was uncompromising and followed a simple principle: the goal was to find the right person for the position, not a position for the person. Professionalism and an unwavering moral compass were the key criteria.“ He also highlighted the financial and economic team, noting its sensitivity to social issues.
“For us, this cabinet line-up represents, above all, a flying start - the ability to step into effective governance of the country from day one,” Prodanov said. He added that it is also ”an end to the political time vacuum, a way out of the institutional deadlock.” The MP added that the proposed government demonstrates the capacity for reform and a clear commitment to carrying out needed structural changes, and stability. ”It is also a commitment to serving a full four-year term,” he noted.
