site.btaBulgarian Rock Group Fondatsiata to Perform in Plovdiv on May 10

The Bulgarian rock group Fondatsiata (The Foundation) will perform at the stage of the Ancient Theatre in Plovdiv as part of the festive programme for the city's historic hosting of the Giro d’Italia on May 10, Plovdiv Municipality said on Thursday.

The group will be joined by special guests Zvezdi from Ahat, Nasko from B.T.R., Valdi Totev from Shturtsite, as well as singer Slavin Slavchev. Young talents from the Plovdiv Art Voice Centre will also participate in the event.

"We want the guests and residents of Plovdiv to feel the spirit of the city and the scale of this global sporting event. The Giro D'Italia is a huge opportunity for Plovdiv, because the race is watched by hundreds of millions of spectators all over the world," Plovdiv Mayor Kostadin Dimitrov said.
