In February, the average contributory income stood at EUR 1,005.28, the National Social Security Institute said on Wednesday. The average monthly contributory income between March 1, 2025 and February 28, 2026 was EUR 967.45.
The average monthly contributory income is used when calculating new pensions in March 2026 under the Social Insurance Code.
In January the average contributory income was EUR 1,006.70.
