BSP will be represented in the next parliament, said left-wing leader Krum Zarkov during a visit to Targovishte. The chair of BSP’s National Council and of the BSP – United Left coalition commented on current political issues ahead of the snap parliamentary elections on April 19.

Together with parliamentary candidates from BSP – United Left for Targovishte’s 28th multi-member constituency, where Gergana Aleksova heads the party list, Zarkov met with residents of Omurtag, as well as farmers and livestock breeders in Popovo. He also visited the villages of Kovachevets, Voditsa, Sadina, and Gagovo.

At the meeting in Targovishte, Zarkov said that Bulgaria is in urgent need of stable, competent, and honest governance. He stressed that BSP – United Left MPs would work not only for a fundamental change in the composition of parliament, but also for a change in the sense of responsibility among those serving in it.

According to him, if the coalition is to have more and stronger representatives in the next parliament, it will need one final small but decisive push – a little more public support.
