GRIFID Encanto Beach Hotel in the Golden Sands resort has developed a new detox programme for its guests. The programme offers stays of varying length designed to promote health, balance and body harmony, the hotel manager Anita Atanasova told BTA.

Key elements of the GriFit D-TOX programme are three diverse menus: Healthy Gourmet, Opti Balance, and Detox, adapted to the guests’ specific goals. The menus use fresh, seasonal and local products selected to support the body’s natural cleansing processes and are delightfully presented to the senses.

The location of GRIFID Encanto Beach is beneficial for respiratory health, detoxification, and overall strengthening of the immune system. The complex covers an area of 2,300 m2, taking four themed floors with 32 modernly equipped treatment rooms.

The hotel’s vision focuses on nutrition, exercise, and self-care, with a team of highly qualified specialists and a yoga teacher from India, Atanasova added.

In 2024, the medical spa centre at the hotel received an award from the European Spas Association for their innovative concepts.

Atanasova said that social interaction also plays an important role in the centre’s therapeutic programmes. The goal is to create an environment that inspires and encourages communication and support among guests.

The initiative, organized in partnership with the Ministry of Tourism and the Bulgarian Union of Balneology and SPA Tourism, is linked to Europe's leading health tourism event, the HEALTHXCHANGE SUMMIT, which will be held from May 11 to 13, 2026, in Varna, Sts. Constantine and Helena, Golden Sands, and Albena. BTA will be the event's main media partner.
