site.btaProsperity Impossible without Independence, Vazrazhdane Leader Kostadinov Says
Vazrazhdane leader Kostadin Kostadinov said in Blagoevgrad on Saturday that Bulgaria cannot be prosperous and its population cannot thrive without sovereignty and independence, which he described as the core of his party's doctrine.
Speaking at a public meeting, Kostadinov presented the party's governing doctrine 'Bulgaria 1,400", outlining measures such as higher incomes, reductions in certain taxes and excise duties, lower electricity and fuel prices, reduced interest rates, and the restoration of the Bulgarian lev.
He argued that lifting sanctions on Russia would allow Bulgaria to access cheaper oil, while removing carbon emissions costs could reduce electricity prices by up to 40%.
According to Kostadinov, these goals do not require complex economic solutions but rather political independence. He stressed that the doctrine is not an election programme but a long-term development plan for at least a decade.
At the meeting, the party's lead candidate for the Blagoevgrad constituency, Tsveta Rangelova, presented the list of parliamentary candidates for the region.
