site.btaLarge Drug Haul Seized by Law Enforcement Agencies

In a joint operation by the General Directorate for Combating Organized Crime (GDCOC) and the State Agency for National Security (SANS), significant quantities of drugs were seized, acting Interior Ministry Secretary General Georgi Kandev announced in a Facebook post on Friday.

Kandev stated that nearly 180 kilogrammes of marijuana, over 10 kg of cocaine, 47 kg of amphetamines, three kilos of ecstasy and almost one kilo of methamphetamine were seized. Kandev also pointed out that a combat pistol and ammunition were found at another address linked to the same group.

He added that details on the case are expected from GDCOC.
