Bulgaria ranks tenth among the countries with the busiest roads in the world, according to an international study by the global car rental price comparison platform DiscoverCars.com. The ranking is based on a survey of the company's customers who have used its services in different countries.

The platform reported that 12,015 drivers participated in the survey, rating traffic congestion on a scale of 0 to 10, where 0 means completely calm and 10 means heavy traffic. The results were used to rank the top 20 countries in the list.

According to the data, Bulgaria ranks tenth with a score of 6,36 points, which, according to the analysis, may mean that when traveling to Sofia or other large cities, it is advisable to plan ahead to avoid rush hours and possible traffic jams. Neighboring Turkiye is also in the top ten, ranked fifth. The top positions are held by Albania with 7,14 points, Montenegro with 7,12 points, and Morocco with 6,91 points, followed by Germany with 6,74 points, Turkiye with 6,71 points, Poland with 6,67 points, Mauritius with 6,63, Canada with 6.56, France with 6,45, and Bulgaria with 6,36 points.
