The Council of Ministers decided to open a Consulate of the Republic of Bulgaria in the United Mexican States, headed by an honorary consul, based in Cancun and a consular district covering the territories of the states of Quintana Roo, Campeche, and Yucatan.

The decision also provides for the appointment of Luis Miguel Camara Diaz, a citizen of the United Mexican States, as Honorary Consular Officer of the Republic of Bulgaria in the United Mexican States, based in Cancun and a consular district encompassing the states of Quintana Roo, Campeche, and Yucatan.
