American Pop Singer Anastacia Takes On-Stage Selfie with Fan during Sofia Show

Sofia, April 17 (BTA) - American pop singer Anastacia "sealed"
her first Bulgarian concert on April 16 with an on-stage selfie
taken with a fan. The lucky girl was one of a number of fans
whom Anastacia invited on stage one by one halfway through her
show at Sofia's NDK convention centre to take photos with her.
The fans had written questions to her and dropped them in a box
before the gig. The singer told them that their love makes her
really happy and helps her get through hard moments.

"My inspiration comes from real life. You should appreciate what
you have and enjoy it every day," Anastacia said. She beat
 cancer in 2003.

The Sofia concert was part of her world tour supporting her most
recent (sixth) studio album, "Resurrection," released in 2014.
She opened the show with one of her greatest hits, "Left Outside
Alone," followed a little later by "Sick and Tired." The star
presented some of her new songs, including "Staring at the Sun",
 "Stay", "Broken Wings" and "Lifeline."

"I am told you like rock. So do I," she said to the crowd at one
point and surprisingly sang covers of the rock hits "Back in
Black" by AC/DC and "Sweet Child of Mine" by Guns N' Roses.

Throughout the 90-minute concert Anastacia demonstrated a
wonderful sense of humour, including when a minor glitch
occurred on stage and the flooring had to be fixed. She talked
to the crowd and walked among them, laughing and apparently
enjoying herself in their company. As her only encore, she sang
"One Day in Your Life" and "I'm Outta Love" while at the same
time signing autographs for front-row fans.

Chicago-born Anastacia Lyn Newkirk has sold over 30 million
 albums worldwide.
